USFWS Request for Public Input
The US Fish & Wildlife Service is hosting a meeting to take public input regarding the current and future management of Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge. The meeting is scheduled for March 23, 2019 from 1pm – 3pm at the Fernley City Council Chambers located at 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, NV.
Prior to that, the Nevada Waterfowl Association will have a meeting to determine our input to the USFWS, which will be held from 10am to 12pm at the Fernley City Council Chambers. We would like to invite any NWA members and interested parties to attend this meeting to provide comments on the management of Stillwater.
If you are unable to attend this meeting in person, you are invited to submit written comments by email to Willie Molini (williammolini@att.net) or Susan Merideth (admin@nevadawaterfowl.org) by March 22, 2019. Comments may also be forwarded by mail to: NWA, PO Box 18419, Reno, NV 89511. If you have any questions, please contact the NWA Business Manager, Susan Merideth, at 775-853-8331.
